  • Community Information   •   2021

The Areawide Aging Agency has been helping Oklahoma’s seniors since 1973. Oklahoma, Cleveland, Canadian, and Logan counties are served through AAA. A total of 11 agencies throughout Oklahoma provide services for seniors in all 77 counties across the state.

Services offered by AAA:

  • Aging Helpline
  • Caregiver Support
  • Information and Referral
  • Legal Services
  • Long Term Care Ombudsman
  • Health & Wellness
  • Nutrition Program
  • Transportation.

We will highlight the Information and Assistance program on this blog. This program is designed to connect older adults, caregivers, and professionals to services that may best meet their needs. For immediate assistance, you can call 405-943-4344 to speak to an Information and Referral Specialist Monday thru Friday 8:00-5:00 pm. The Survival Kit for Seniors is a 200+ page resource directory compiled and published by the Information and Assistance division of Areawide Aging Agency. This publication can be mailed out for a small fee. Veteran Information & Referral Specialist, Sharon Pickard, says, “undoubtedly the call most often received at the agency is from those needing assistance in getting home-delivered meals or transportation.” Thank goodness for this senior service!
